This involved 2 regular clients of mine that happened to be a couple. One of the clients had recently purchased the adjacent apartment and they wanted a door put in between to 2 suites to make it one giant suite. This involved a lot more than just kicking down the wall as we had to obtain the permits as well as engineered drawings of how to make it safe. It also required a fire rating as we were connecting 2 suites and therefor 2 full kitchens etc. as well, so we used a metal door.

I have not yet seen the final product as the whole suite was to be painted so I was asked to leave it as is, but below you can see the work I completed including the two 4×9 beams installed to support it.
